The cinematic version of the model in the game. At the beginning of the work, two models with different topologies were made. One ingame and one cinematic model. But later on, only one model was made, with a higher polygon count and higher texture resolution. This model was then set up with the unreal auto lod system, depending on whether it was to work as an ingame or cinematic model. The shots shown here are not from the game, and not from cinematic. They were taken by me for presentation purposes only. The animations shown are not in the game either, because I made them for testing purposes. Although I'm not an animator, it's not my specialty, but I guess it shows....:D As a comment, I would like to say that the proportions of the aliens are exaggerated, a bit abstracted (which unfortunately made them grotesque in some places) This is because they were made for a strategy game and had to be visible from a distance. On the other hand, it was a concept at the beginning of development to make aliens that were a bit cartoony. I later tried to counteract this by detailing the textures....
Thanks for looking at my work!!!!!
